Hours of Light for Hydroponic Marijuana Crops |
Growing a hydroponic marijuana crop means simulating sunlight and the plants will need certain hours of lightness and darkness. There are also some stages of growth that the lighting will need to be left on twenty-four hours a day.
When the seedlings are first planted the lighting will need to be left on for twenty-four hours a day. At approximately four weeks of hydroponic growth the lighting should be able to be set to fourteen hours on and ten hours that the lighting is turned off.

The amount of proper lighting hours will provide the fullest marijuana plant size if the water and nutrient mixture for the hydroponic crop is right. This will also keep the plants from growing spindly and help to prevent disease when the hydroponic crop gets the right amount of light and the lighting is important for the bud growth. |
